In alliance with our community, the members of the Plains Police Department provide public safety and protect the lives and property of the citizens of Plains through emergency response, education and prevention while promoting a high quality of life.

The Plains Police Department, with three full-time officers, is a professional organization continually seeking opportunities to serve our community through crime prevention, emergency operations, a sense of community, and responsive customer service.

In response to the challenges created by a growing town, the Police Department strives to maintain the town’s low crime rate and high quality of life. The department engages residents to share in the responsibility of keeping Plains a safe community.
